In early 2025, The Good Schools Guide visited Greenfield to make their first ever review of the school. The GSG is written for parents, by parents and their impression of Greenfield was just as we had hoped: truthful, insightful and charming.
“A school teeming with warmth and happiness, Greenfield pupils are quietly confident, resoundingly polite and love learning.”
Greenfield was voted the TES Prep School of the Year in 2022. The school was praised for “bucking the trend” within the sector and making rapid and dramatic changes to school life based on the needs of younger generations and importance of building employability skillsets.
The judges were particularly impressed with Greenfield’s inclusive ethos and the exceptional results achieved by all pupils. TES Awards Judge, and Head at St Paul’s Cathedral School, Simon Larter-Evans said:
“The school has increased its roll and made a particular feature of helping parents choose the future school with the interests of the child, rather than the interests of prestige and that’s a good message for everyone in the independent sector.”
In 2023, the school’s admissions process was shortlisted for an AMCIS Impact Award, in recognition of our simple, straight-forward and stress-free on-boarding experience for prospective families.
And in 2022, the school was highly commended for two Muddy Stilettos School Awards, one for Outstanding Pastoral Care and the other for Best Sense of Humour!
“The team is a true delight to work with. At all times you feel reassured and happy as parents and communication is ahead of time and organised in a clear way.”

The independent school Ofsted equivalent, ISI, inspected Greenfield in May 2023 and the Greenfield community was thrilled to see that the inspectors had witnessed excellence across the school during their short visit to the site.
“The quality of the pupils’ academic and other achievements is excellent. Building on the excellent foundations in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), pupils of all abilities make strong progress in their learning, through to Year 6.”
