On Thursday afternoon Year 6 took part in a kindness and team building workshop. The children explored and shared what kindness means to them, how it feels to receive kindness and what to do if it all goes wrong.
The children were set a number of team building tasks to practice their communication and perseverance skills. They worked collaboratively, sharing ideas and coming up with a plan, before testing out their theories and working together to problem-solve.
One task left all the groups doing a bit of head-scratching, as they were asked to place a pen over a line, without any of the team or any objects touching the floor on the other side. After many failed attempts (and lots of wonderful ideas!), Miss Griffiths shared the technique and the groups competed to see who could get the furthest.
